St. Valentine's Day

I love Valentine's day. We woke up to a breakfast table of love. Cupid came, although Jilli was a little nervous of a "little naked guy coming in our house." School parties were a success, family dinner was delightful, my kind of day.

Happy Anniversary

Here's to my Bradley. Brad is just a good guy, he is content, he knows what is important, he doesn't need to impress anyone, he is practical, he is frugal, he works hard, he makes me laugh, he makes me mad, he is a huge help with the girls, he is just Brad. My guy.

Our anniversary hasn't been all flowers and romance. We greeted each other at 6:12 a.m. We had a do I have to hug you stinky lady embrace. I was sweaty from running, he was in his office sending out reports. We got ready for work, took the girls to school, and went about our day. It is Ash Wednesday so we had cheese pizza from Hy-Vee for dinner. Brad went back to his office and worked until ??? Still working when this went to press at 9:20.

Oh well, it is his busy time. We ate together, we laughed, we know we are all good. I love you Brad!

Father/Daughter Dance

Mia and Brad enjoyed yet another father/daughter dance! The first grade moms hosted, it was fun to watch!

my sweetest jayhawks

I sometimes read through my blog, tonight was one of those nights. I stumbled across this footage of the sweetest little Jayhawks you could ever know. Maybe one day when they proudly walk down the hill in their caps and gowns they will convert their grandpas to cheer for the correct team. :) That is if this video doesn't do it now.

Pizza Party

Jillian loves her school now. She has made several friends, but one is so special, they "are friendship." They planned out to bring their bitty baby twins to the family pizza night. They even gave each other assigned items to bring, one a blanket, the other a doll hair brush. Too bad they aren't going to the same kindergarten.
